Teaching by Andre’ D. Fullwood
Manuscript pages 80–81
Proverbs 15:4 (AMPC) “A gentle tongue… is a tree of life…” The Hebrew word marpeh (“gentle”) means healing, restoration, and remedy.
Words are invitations.
Speech summons presence.
When you speak:
- faith invites the Holy Spirit
- worship invites God’s presence
- truth invites clarity
- repentance invites mercy
- humility invites grace
But:
- fear invites torment
- complaining invites heaviness
- gossip invites division
- anger invites strife
- rebellion invites demonic influence
Your words are spiritual invitations.
Your vocabulary determines what you host.
The tongue as a gate confronts us with a question:
What spirits have I invited with my speech?
