Isaiah 22:22 (AMPC) “…He shall shut, and no one shall open…” The Hebrew word sagar (“shut”) means to lock, seal, or close off access.

Your words not only open doors, but they also close them.

You can close:

  • doors of trauma
  • doors of generational patterns
  • doors of cycles
  • doors of demonic access
  • doors of past seasons

Some doors remain open not because God left them open, but because the believer never closed them with their speech.

Closure is not only emotional but also spiritual.

It is verbal.

It is legislative.

The tongue as a gate confronts us with a question:

What doors must be closed by my words?
