Your Words Establish Reality

Chapter 5: The Tongue as a Gate

Teaching by Andre’ D. Fullwood

Manuscript pages 81–83

Job 22:28 (AMPC) “You shall decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established…” The Hebrew word qum (“established”) means to stand, rise, or take form.

Words give shape to reality.

Speech is legislative.

Declarations are governmental.

Your words:

  • establish
  • authorize
  • activate
  • permit
  • restrict
  • govern

Your life is shaped by the decrees you consistently release.

Your reality is formed by the sentences you repeatedly speak.

The tongue as a gate confronts us with a question:

What realities have I established with my declarations?

Self-Examination

1. What doors have my words opened?

2. What doors have my words closed?

3. What spirits have I invited with my speech?

4. What realities have I established with my declarations?

5. What access points have I left unguarded?

Let these questions search you deeply.

Prayer Of Purification

Father, I repent for every door I opened through careless speech.

I repent for every access point I left unguarded.

I repent for every invitation extended to the wrong spirit.

Close every demonic door.

Shut every ungodly access point.

Cancel every unauthorized agreement.

Revoke every destructive decree.

Open doors of blessing, healing, breakthrough, and destiny.

Guard the gate of my mouth.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Apostolic Charge

Your mouth is a gate.

Guard it with vigilance.

Use it with intention.

Speak with alignment.

Decree with authority.

Close what God has ended.

Open what God has ordained.

The next chapter will confront the tongue as a builder of the dimension of speech that constructs atmospheres, relationships, identity, and destiny.
