Your Words Are Spiritual Contracts
Chapter 4: The Tongue as a Judge

Teaching by Andre’ D. Fullwood
Manuscript pages 72–73
Ecclesiastes 5:2–6 (AMPC) “Do not be rash with your mouth… Let not your mouth cause your flesh to sin…” Words are not casual , they are covenantal.
Every time you speak, you enter into:
- agreement
- alignment
- authorization
- activation
The Hebrew word ḥāṭā (“to sin”) in this context means to violate a covenant, to break alignment, to miss the mark through speech. Scripture teaches that the mouth can break a covenant with God, not through action, but through utterance.
Words create spiritual contracts:
- Agreements with fear
- Agreements with shame
- Agreements with bitterness
- Agreements with unbelief
- Agreements with identity lies
- Agreements with demonic suggestion
Many believers are fighting battles they unknowingly authorized with their own speech.
The tongue as a contract confronts us with a question:
What spiritual agreements have I entered through my words?
