Your Words Are Legal Documents
Chapter 4: The Tongue as a Judge
Read at your own pace. Pause, pray, and return to the teaching whenever you need.
Teaching by Andre’ D. Fullwood
Manuscript pages 73–76
Job 22:28 (AMPC) “You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you…” In the realm of the spirit, words function like:
- decrees
- petitions
- testimonies
- affidavits
- agreements
- verdicts
The Hebrew word gazar (“decree”) means to cut, decide, or legislate.
This reveals that words do not merely describe reality , they legislate it.
Your words establish:
- your direction
- your atmosphere
- your identity
- your relationships
- your spiritual climate
- your emotional world
Your speech becomes the legal documentation of your destiny.
The tongue as a legal document confronts us with a question:
What sentences have I placed on myself or others?
Self-Examination
Pause and confront your heart with honesty:
1. What have my words been testifying about me?
2. What verdicts have I spoken over my own life?
3. What spiritual contracts have I entered through speech?
4. What judgments have I released unknowingly?
5. What sentences have I placed on myself or others?
Let these questions search you deeply.
Transformation begins with truth.
Prayer Of Purification
Father, I repent for every careless word.
I repent for every destructive judgment.
I repent for every ungodly agreement.
I repent for every negative decree.
Break every self-imposed sentence.
Cancel every destructive contract.
Overturn every ungodly verdict.
Silence every condemning word.
Release new decrees over my life.
Release new judgments aligned with Your will.
Release new testimonies shaped by Your truth.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Apostolic Charge
Your words are not empty.
They are witnesses.
They are judgments.
They are contracts.
They are legal documents.
Speak with sobriety.
Speak with alignment.
Speak with righteousness.
Speak with the awareness that heaven hears and records.
The next chapter will confront the tongue as a gate, the dimension of speech that opens and closes spiritual doors.
