Proverbs 16:28 (AMPC) “A whisperer separates close friends.”
The Hebrew word nirgan (“whisperer”) means murmurer, secret slanderer, one who spreads quiet division.
Unity is fragile.
Unity is spiritual.
Unity is powerful.
And nothing destroys unity faster than:
- gossip
- slander
- whispering
- accusation
- complaining
- division
Whispering destroys even the strongest bonds.
Destructive speech dismantles unity from the inside out.
The tongue as destroyer confronts us with a question:
What unity have I damaged through conversation?
