Maturity in Speech

Mature speech builds, immature speech breaks.
Immature believers:
- speak emotionally
- react verbally
- tear down
- gossip or vent

Mature believers:
- speak life
- build others
- guard their words
- communicate with wisdom
- speak from the Spirit
This is sanctification at the level of verbal maturity.
It is not enough to speak truth,
you must speak truth in love.

- choose with wisdom
- consider consequences
- move with intention
This is sanctification at the level of decision maturity.
It is not enough to make decisions,
you must make wise ones.

It is not enough to admire Christ,
